Professional, relocated from East, finding only contractual work. Worked for a Trust as a primary caregiver and Estate Manager to a woman with advanced dementia for 2 years. The Trustee placed me in an apt. (to be close to my patient) and claimed the car I had been driving was part of my severance. Car was taken back, was told it was temporary and the Trustee hadn't done the paperwork with the insurance. I used my savings to pay for the apt. when it became apparent the Trustee was not honoring the severance agreement. Not knowing California Law, I inquired on a law review site re: my severance.
