I am a retired government worker who has a limited but regular income. My son, a college student, lives with me. He works to pay his college tuition and fees, leaving little or nothing to help with expenses at home. My health demands expensive medications and I would like to find a less expensive apartment so that I can have more than $5.00 left at the end of each month. I have always worked hard, but post-Katrina New Orleans does not offer too many job opportunities for older people.
