I'm looking for a financial assistance program to help me offset my rent, or a Section 8 housing apt 2 rent. 1 or 2 bedrooms will do. My current situation is putting a strain upon me as I can not afford to pay everything on such a small amount. I'm currently living on Social Security, for which I'm grateful but is not much to fully carry me. I'm not your typical case of someone on SSI, I was employed for several years until I got sick. I lost my job, home and other unimportant things. I'm also a part-time caregiver for my oldest child and mother when I'm capable to help them out. I'm not asking for much, just a break. Not a hand out.
