We are a single family, Mother of two adult daughters plus three young children, looking for affordable housing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nothing fancy, just a roof to keep over our heads. Quiet and friendly family with no criminal records. Able to pay rent on time (if reasonably priced) and can pay utilities as well. We have rented our last home for 7+ years until the bank foreclosed on the property owner and with that came a new property owner who double our current rent. We can no longer afford to live here and would need to find somewhere else to live before Dec. 31st. If you have anything available, we can afford to pay $2,000.00 monthly. I know it's below market value but our income hasn't increased and we might end up homeless.
