I am a current college student on the central coast between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County. I am looking to move into my own place with one friend to help with rent. Most places throughout both counties are quite expensive even for one bedroom and studios. Very few listings are within our budget, and even the few that I did find within budget are tight or right at the peak of what I can afford. I am hoping to find assistance so I can continue working part time and going to college for my degree. I am looking to transfer to graduate school into a veterinarian program. I am not looking for anything fancy, just something comfortable and meets basic standards of living without struggling paycheck to paycheck.
